Judges 2- Israel’s Disobedience
  • 1- The very Angel or The Lord Himself that had led Israel thus far was speaking again.
  • 2- What you join, you will become…
  • 3- THORN IN YOUR SIDE- SAME THING THE APOSTLE PAUL USED TO DESCRIBE HIS AFFLICTION...NOTE HERE THE LAW OF FIRST USE- HOW SOMETHING IS DESCRIBED BECOMES THE DEFINITION IN SCRIPTURE…..THESE THORNS ARE NOT DISEASES BUT CONFLICT IN RELATIONSHIPS AND IN BELIEF SYSTEMS
  • 6- Joshua mentioned again as RELEASING the people to their INHERITANCE 
  • 7-10- Those who saw God move remained faithful to Him…
  • 11- Those who forgot decided against God. WE DON’T NEED CONSTANT MIRACLES JUST OBSERVANCE OF WHO GOT US WHERE WE ARE TODAY!
  • 11-13- The rebellion warned against begins over the decades...it takes time but it will tear things down. Baal was the god of FERTILITY and NATURE ...both are things FROM GOD and things WE WORSHIP TODAY.
  • 14- Now the enemy is taking BACK the land from Israel ...much like we allow little things to mess up our lives!!
  • 15-23- God raises up judges (books name) to help Israel at least stay intact but NOT victorious over their enemies. JUDGE- TO GOVERN...PRONOUNCE SENTENCE ...DECIDE A MATTER (GEN 1:26). TO BRING ABOUT A RIGHT STATE OF AFFAIRS.
  • 23- God will NOT clear out the nations when ISRAEL CANNOT FILL THE VOID ...THE SAME GOES FOR US TODAY

Pastor Ron Moore, Jr. has been credentialed with the International Pentecostal Holiness Church (IPHC) since 1987 and ordained since 2003. Ron served as a board member for numerous religious organizations as well as civic agencies in Florida and is part of a number of ministry groups in New Hampshire now.

Ron attended Christ for the Nations Institute in Dallas, TX in 1985-86, and then received his BS and MS from FSU in Atmospheric Sciences and Social Sciences and in Geography, specializing in Hurricane Climatology.
