Notice a theme…..most of the tribes NEVER took full possession of THEIR inheritance and it ALWAYS KEPT THEM BACK. 

Joshua 20- Cities of Refuge
  • 1- The Lord speaks to Joshua…..ALWAYS EMPHASIZED- THE FACT GOD SPEAKS TO US
  • 2- GOD ORDAINED BUT MAN HAS TO IMPLEMENT GOD’S METHODS….’
  • 3- It was the duty of the oldest male kin to avenge the death in the family...these cities protected the manslaughter until it could be dealt with in court
  • 4- GATE- where men of the city heard and reviewed legal cases ...ENTER HIS GATES WITH THANKSGIVING….
  • 6- Death of a high priest released the slayer of any guilt. Interesting….Jesus did the same for us with His death!
  • 7-8- 6 cities established where a person could reach one from anywhere within a half day journey

Ron Moore

Pastor Ron Moore, Jr. has been credentialed with the International Pentecostal Holiness Church (IPHC) since 1987 and ordained since 2003. Ron served as a board member for numerous religious organizations as well as civic agencies in Florida and is part of a number of ministry groups in New Hampshire now.

He and his wife of 30 years, Charlene, have two sons: Joshua and Caleb. Pastor Ron currently has a show on Merrimack TV, Community Channel 22, called Impact Zone. Click here for show times.

Ron attended Christ for the Nations Institute in Dallas, TX in 1985-86, and then received his BS and MS from FSU in Atmospheric Sciences and Social Sciences and in Geography, specializing in Hurricane Climatology.
