Missions

For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. How then can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”
Romans 10:13 -15

Our missions program's primary focus is to assist and facilitate the extension of the Kingdom locally, nationally, and around the world. Our goal and commitment is two-fold: (1) The programs that we support must have the same commitment to the Kingdom of God and it's expansion on this earth that we have for the Merrimack Valley, and (2) because of the extreme darkness of the Merrimack Valley our primary commitment is to facilitate financially Kingdom ministries in and around the Merrimack Valley that are ministering in areas where we do not have the ability to carry out ourselves.

Current Focus

Our current missions focus is centered on ministries that deal with the rampant drug problem and the ministries that deal with the family since one problem affects the other.  As we see progress in these areas and as the Lord leads us we will expand our missions focus and giving.

Partner Requirements

We require personal and financial integrity of the ministries we support just as we do of ourselves.  In this regard we will take the time and effort to evaluate each ministry we intend to support for both personal and financial integrity.

Teen Challenge

Teen Challenge is a ministry dedicated to assisting people in overcoming drug and alcohol addictions. The long term program provides a structured framework to enable the addict to successfully overcome addictions, rebuild self-worth and reenter society as a productive member. Jesus is at the center of everything, as the source of hope, strength, and courage for the addicts and their families.

We support Teen Challenge every month.

operation christmas child

Operation Christmas Child is a project of Samaritan’s Purse, an international relief organization. They provide local partners around the world with shoeboxes filled with small toys, hygiene items, and school supplies as a means of reaching out to children in their own communities with the Good News of Jesus Christ.

Our support of this ministry really blossomed last year due to the passion of our Missions Leader, Linda Lamy. We put together our highest number of boxes ever, at nearly 50.

Mission Trips

At various times during the year, some of our regular attendees may go on overseas missions trips. We like to support these endeavors and offer financial assistance or donated goods towards these trips. Last year we supported outreaches to India and Peru.
